Sellwood Community House summer camp is 10 timeless weeks of fun!
Summer Camp for Less!
Register by October 15th and you’ll get:
48-hour pre-registration access: When specific summer weeks open for selection in January, you’ll have a 48-hour head start to choose yours.
A free 2027 SCH Camp T-Shirt: Because summer camp deserves a good shirt. And yes, we’re already working on this year’s design.
Early Bird Pricing:
K-5 Full Day Camp: $400/week → $350 Early Bird (Save $500 if you book the whole summer!)
K-5 Half Day Shack Camp: $250/week → $215 Early Bird (Save $350 if you book the whole summer!)
Early Childhood Full Day Camp: $425/week → $395 Early Bird (Save $300 if you book the whole summer!)
No need to know your exact weeks yet — early registration simply lets us know how many weeks and what type of camp you’re planning for. Specific week selection opens in January, and you’ll be the first to know.
Early Bird pricing continues through November 15th. And of course, regular registration opens in January— so you can feel ahead of things, and locked into a simple, carefree summer.
Preschool Camp, Half Day
For ages 3-5 years
Our Half Day Preschool Summer Camp is packed with exciting activities to keep little ones engaged and active. Kids will enjoy hands-on cooking, messy art projects, gross motor games, and refreshing water play all summer long. They'll also have plenty of opportunities to make new friends and develop social skills in a fun, supportive environment. It’s the perfect summer for exploration, creativity, and creating magical memories!

Preschool Camp, Full Day
For ages 3-5 years
Our PlayLab Preschool Summer Camp is packed with exciting activities to keep little ones engaged and active. Campers will enjoy joyful days filled with hands-on play, art, music, sensory activities, and summer adventures—all designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support growing independence in a warm, nurturing environment.
It’s the perfect summer space for exploration, creativity, and creating magical memories for your preschooler!

Location: PlayLab
Cost: $425/week
This camp will take place at our PlayLab annex location, just up the street from Sellwood Community House at 7810 SE 15th Avenue.
Shack Camp, Half Day
at The Shack at Sellwood Park
For rising K-5th graders
Rising Kindergarten Campers must be 5 at the time of camp.
Grade School Camp at the Shack at Sellwood Park is an active, adventure-filled summer experience designed for elementary-age campers who are ready to explore, create, and connect.
Set in the heart of Sellwood Park, campers spend their days immersed in outdoor play, hands-on projects, games, and creative challenges that spark curiosity and fun.Campers build confidence and teamwork skills as they collaborate with peers, try new activities, and take on age-appropriate challenges. From art and nature exploration to group games and imaginative play, each day encourages problem-solving, creativity, and social growth in a supportive, engaging environment.
This camp offers a balanced mix of structure and freedom—giving grade-school campers the chance to be active, make new friends, and enjoy summer in the park while building independence and lasting memories.

Grade School Camp, Full Day
at Sellwood Community House
For rising K-5th graders
Rising Kindergarten Campers must be 5 at the time of camp.
Come discover what our neighborhood has to offer! In addition to on-site activities at Sellwood Community House, grade school campers will visit nearby parks, swim at the Sellwood Pool, and explore the community with walking field trips.
Campers will be grouped by rising grade level, Kinder-2nd grades and 3rd-5th grades.
Our summer camp provides a safe, fun environment for children to interact with friends, engage in a wide variety of activities, enjoy outdoor play, and participate in organized games. We can’t wait for your child to join us!

Counselors-in-Training
For rising 6th–9th graders
Dates: Coming Soon
Time: 9:00am—1:00pm (half day); 9:00am—4:00pm (full day)
Half-Day Cost: $150
Full-Day Cost: $200
Our CIT program is a fun, hands-on leadership experience where tweens and teens build confidence, make connections, and step into meaningful roles in our camp community. As participants grow, so do their opportunities—making this a program that builds skills, confidence, and leadership year after year.
This summer, the program is thoughtfully split into two cohorts to support each participant where they are, while still coming together daily for shared activities, connection, and plenty of fun.
CIT 1 (Rising 6th–7th Graders)
A welcoming starting point for those new to CIT and curious about leadership. Participants learn the basics of camp leadership—leading games and songs, supporting activities, and building positive relationships—while growing confidence, communication, and a strong sense of teamwork.
CIT 2 (Rising 8th–9th Graders)
Designed for returning CITs ready to take the next step. Participants step into more active leadership roles by mentoring younger CITs, assisting counselors, planning activities, and helping shape the daily energy and experience of camp.
Financial Policies
You will pay a $100 deposit at the time of registration for each week of camp that you sign up for.
The remaining balance will be set for auto-pay 9 days before the start of the camp week.
You may also choose to pay for each week in full at the time of registration.
Cancellation & Withdrawal
Summer Camp 2026
We understand that plans can change, and we want to make the process as clear as possible for our families. Here’s our cancellation policy:
SCH does not issue cash or card refunds
Cancellations made with 10 or more days written notice before the program start date will receive family credit for the canceled order(s). Family credit does not expire and can be used for other SCH registrations placed on Jumbula.
Please email our office at info@sellwoodcommunityhouse.org with your child’s name and week of camp that you wish to cancel.
Cancellations made with fewer than 10 days written notice before the program start date are non-refundable and will not receive family credit.
If SCH cancels a program, we will make every effort to provide a make-up option. If you are unable to attend the make-up, or we are unable to offer a make-up, you will receive a family credit equivalent to the missed session.
Class dates missed by the participant will not be credited.
