Sellwood History Hunt 2025

Congratulations to the Rost family for winning the 2025 Sellwood History Hunt! By the time they found the Medallion Thursday evening, quite a merry crew of hunters had assembled at Sellwood Riverfront Park!
Sellwood Community House would like to thank Kelly Luzania & Joe Gantt, History Hunt Grand Masters Extraordinaire, for putting such care and creativity into developing this amazing history hunt! Not only did they gift everyone five days of history & exploration, but also thanks to the generous donations of over 70 participants, they raised $590 for Sellwood Community House!

Thursday, June 5 | 10am-12pm | volunteer opportunity, Register HEre with SOLVE | Meet At Sellwood Riverfront Parking Lot
Join us to help the Sellwood Riverfront get ready for summer! In partnership with Human Access Project and SOLVE, we will devote our morning to preventing microplastics and other debris from entering our waterways. This event is part of Pick It Up, Portland, a city-wide initiative focused on litter removal. We hope to see you there!

Royal Rosarian Milk Carton Boat Race
Sellwood Community House is pleased to support the 2025 Royal Rosarian Milk Carton Boat Race!
Save the date for the 2025 Royal Rosarian Milk Carton Boat Race, coming to the Westmoreland Park Casting Pond on Sunday, June 22nd!
Boat registration is open now! For more details and to register your boat, click here. Sellwood Community House is an official pick-up site for milk cartons! Come by on Monday-Friday between 9-3 to pick up your supply. There are several other pick-up locations available as well: click here to find more information on milk carton pick-up.
Sellwood Community House will sponsor a family fun zone at the Milk Carton Boat Race - we hope to see you there!

Milk and Cookies in the Park

Kick off this summer with a good old-fashioned treat! Preorder a ½ dozen of our delicious cookies, paired with your choice of classic cow’s milk or refreshing plant-based milk (4 individual cartons). Then, grab a picnic blanket from The Shack and find a cozy spot under the trees. Summer is sweeter with milk and cookies, enjoyed in the company of community!
Sweets and Sunsets in the Park

Join us for sweets and the sunset at Sellwood Park. Preorder a box of four delicious baked treats, borrow a cozy picnic blanket, and settle in to watch the sunset. Whether you come with friends, family, or a date, it’s the perfect way to slow down, savor something sweet, and enjoy the beauty of the season.
Sweets will be available for pick-up at The Shack starting at 6:00 pm.
Pies in the Park

Family Clay Play
First Saturdays, 2–4:30pm | $35, Register Here | SCH
Join Makerspace Sellwood and SCH on the first Saturday of each month for Family Clay Play!
Each month will have a simple structured project appropriate for ages 3-14. All supplies, instruction, and firing are included! Finished projects will be ready for pick up within 3-4 weeks at Sellwood Community House.
Gathering Together Farm CSA
wednesdays at SCh, Main Season June 11-October 29, Fall Option November 5-26.
Sellwood Community House is thrilled to partner with Gathering Together Farms as a host site for their Community Supported Agriculture program!
Pick-ups are on Wednesdays from 10am-6pm.
