Our littles program offers a variety of classes and play opportunities for our youngest community members, from babies to five-year olds (and their grownups)! Our instructor-led classes and drop-in play times provide opportunities for little ones to move, create, explore, and learn.

Littles Classes at The Shack
We are moving some of our favorite littles classes outside this summer, to The Shack at Sellwood Park!
Advance registration is required, but classes will operate on a week-to-week basis.
Sign up for as few or as many classes as you like!

Ready, Set, Go!
Mondays | 10:00-10:30 AM | $10/class, Registration required | the shack at sellwood park | AGES 2-5 YEARS
Ready, Set, Go! is a 30 minute introductory class that will introduce a new sport every week (think soccer, flag football, golf, kickball, t-ball, obstacle course, track-and-field, field hockey, etc). There will be group stretches, skill practice and then a mini scrimmage/game at the end of the class. Through games, interactive exercises, and fun activities, little ones will develop essential motor skills, coordination, balance, and teamwork—while having a blast!

Music and Movement
Tuesdays | 10:00-10:30 AM | $10/class, Registration required | the shack at sellwood park | AGES 0-5 YEARS
Come dance, sing, and groove with Miss Hattie! Music and movement is designed to introduce children ages 0-5 to the joys of music and rhythm in a fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate way. Each week will include play, movement, and sensory exploration.

Tiny Tumblers

Roll, Jump, and tumble in the great outdoors! Tiny tumblers is moving to Sellwood Park and will continue on Wednesday mornings all summer! This 30 minute class will introduce tumbling basics through movement songs, games, stretches, and an outdoor obstacle course.
Parent participation required.

Join us for creative, colorful crafts under the shade of the trees at Sellwood Park.
Ladybug Explorers
friDAYS | 10:00-10:30 AM | $10/Class, registration required | the shack at sellwood park | AGES 2 YEARS-5 YEARS
In this 30 minute introductory class, we will introduce outdoor nature elements to children ages 2-5 and go on a nature-based adventure through the park (activity examples: pine cone bird feeders, planting seeds in pots, bird watching, park BINGO, plant & animal identification).
