Our littles program offers a variety of classes and play opportunities for our youngest community members, from babies to five-year olds (and their grownups!). Our instructor-led classes and drop-in play times provide opportunities for little ones to move, create, explore, and learn.

Bring your little ones for drop-in fun! Drop-in for messy art, sensory exploration, open-ended play, or join us for a class. Best suited to kids ages 0-5, though all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sellwood Community House Open Gym

Let the littles run, roll, and explore in our old-school basketball gym! We transform the space with ride-on toys, balls, and toddler-friendly equipment for open-ended play. Perfect for burning energy rain or shine. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Our cozy gymnastics studio transforms into a playful space filled with toddler-friendly equipment for open-ended fun. Littles are free to move, explore, and burn energy in a safe, indoor environment. Adult supervision required.

Get ready to explore, experiment, and discover! In this playful, hands-on class, young learners become curious scientists as they dive into exciting topics like color mixing, bubbles, weather, magnets, and more. Adult participation required.

A fun, high-energy class where kids explore rhythm, instruments, and creative movement through play and dance with Miss Hattie. Offered as a 5-week series, adult participation required. We will have three sessions of this class - see below for dates & registration links.

Children build strength, balance, coordination, and beginning gymnastics skills as they roll, jump, and climb through playful obstacle courses. Movement-based fun that supports growing bodies and busy minds! Offered as a 9-week series, adult participation is optional.

Designed for picky eaters ages 2–5, this fun, low-pressure class is led by speech pathologists from Beech Street Speech & Language. Little ones explore new foods through play, tasting, and hands-on activities, while caregivers receive expert guidance to better understand and support their child’s eating behaviors.

A class for babies ages 5–12 months and their caregivers, focused on starting solids and exploring feeding milestones. Led by pediatric feeding specialists from Beech Street Speech & Language, you'll get expert guidance on textures, safety, baby-led feeding, and supporting your baby's oral motor development in a relaxed, supportive setting.
