Littles

Our littles program offers a variety of classes and play opportunities for our youngest community members, from babies to five-year olds (and their grownups)! Our instructor-led classes and drop-in play times provide opportunities for little ones to move, create, explore, and learn.

Tiny Tumblers

Tuesdays | 9:30-10:15am |‍ ‍$85/5 week session | Sellwood Community House | ages 16 months-3 years

Little ones build strength and coordination as they move to music and roll, jump, and climb through fun obstacle courses. This class offers a playful introduction to tumbling and movement! Please note, adult participation is required.

Session 1: September 22-October 20 (5 week session)

Mighty Tumblers

Children ages 3–5 build strength, balance, and coordination as they roll, jump, and climb through playful obstacle courses. This class offers movement-based fun that supports growing bodies and busy minds! Adult participation is optional, although caregivers are encouraged to stay in the studio during class in order to offer support if needed.

Tummy Time with Bridgetown Baby

wednesdays | 9:30 - 10:30 AM | free | SCH STudio

This weekly meet-up for infants and their caregivers will provide camaraderie and counsel to ease the parenting journey. Gatherings are facilitated by a Bridgetown Baby doula. Connect with other new parents while your infants enjoy tummy time in our bright, padded studio.

Messy Makers (Ages 1-3)

wednesdays | 9:15 - 10:00 AM | $85/5 week session | SCH art room | ages 1-3 years

Our youngest artists get a chance to get messy, explore their senses, and have fun! This class offers a safe space for toddlers to try out different materials, experience new textures and practice fine motor skills (without getting paint on your couch!). Please note, adult participation is required. Wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting messy is encouraged— for both your little artist and you!

Crafty Explorers (Ages 2-5)

wednesdays | 10:15 - 11:00 AM | $85/5 week session | SCH art room | ages 2-5 years

Our older artists will be honing their crafting skills and exploring the creative process through a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional mediums. This playful, hands-on class offers budding artists a chance to focus on self expression and creative experimentation. Remember to dress for mess! Caregivers should plan to stay in the classroom to offer support if needed. 

Grown-up and Me Yoga (Ages 0-2)

thursdays | 9:15 - 10:00 AM | $85/5 week session | SCH studio | ages 0-2 years

This infant/toddler class will include developmentally appropriate songs, chants and movement as well as introduce calming techniques adults and young children can practice together. The teacher will provide opportunities for books, dancing and props based on the needs of the group. An emphasis on social-emotional health and development is at the heart of each class.

This class will include developmentally appropriate poses, meditations, songs, chants, dancing and books! There will be opportunities to learn different calming techniques for children and adults. An emphasis on social-emotional health and development is at the heart of each class.

Red Yarn

Join us for a lively Red Yarn concert, perfect for young children and their families! Oregon’s own Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) blends folk-rock music and puppetry into a high-energy, engaging show that brings American roots traditions to life.
