Decemberville Holiday Market
Saturday, December 13, Various Opportunities Available
Help bringing our Decemberville Holiday Market to life! There are two main volunteer needs for this event:
Bake Sale! Love to bake? We would love to include your holiday treats in our bake sale! Proceeds from our bake sale support our free programs and free community events like this!
You can drop your baked goods off on Friday, December 12. Please label any allergens they may contain, and if possible, individually wrap your items. Thank you!
Muscle! Our market takes place in our gym upstairs, and vendors need help hauling their tables & wares to and fro. If you are looking to increase your steps or do some light lifting, this volunteer job is for you! We will be forever grateful for your donatio of time & energy!

Volunteer-Led Classes, Clubs & Events
Do you have a hobby or talent that you would like to teach, a guided walk or tour you would like to lead, or another proposal you would like to share with us? The Reading & Brain Games clubs are shining examples of volunteer-led clubs. Favorite past events include the popular Ghost Tours last fall and the History Happy Hour neighborhood walks last spring.
New this summer, we are also looking for volunteers to lead storytimes, classes and walks at The Shack at Sellwood Park!
Please fill out the below forms to share your ideas!
Join a Committee
The SCH Board has a number of standing committees, including Finance, Building, and Fundraising that are always looking for new members! If you have an interest and professional experience in these or other areas, consider joining a committee! Board membership is not a prerequisite for joining a committee, just an excitement to make a difference.
If you have any questions or are interested in learning more, please reach out to our executive director, Ashley Murray, at ashley@sellwoodcommunityhouse.org.
